and automatically add cue lengths and timecodes to cue names - plus many more features.

Streamlined Bump-Button Workflow

Create button triggers (like Top, Go, Temp, …) through either simple number markers (for maximum compatibility) or dedicated Reaper tracks.

Introduction

This tool has been under development since 2016 as an internal solution for my personal use, shared with some selected colleagues and friends.
Therefor it is very opinionated and focused. Rather than being a comprehensive lighting-tool suite, it grows organically to meet our workflow’s emerging needs.
As a result, some features may not align with your specific needs or workflows.
However, due to frequent requests, I’ve decided to make GMA Toolbox publicly available.
If you find it helpful, I’m glad it serves you well. If not, there are many excellent alternatives to consider, both as standalone applications and in-console plugins.
For timecode creation in particular, notable options include Markers2CueList, CuePoints, TimecodeMAte, and MArkersPRO, among others.

Timecode Tools

  • Timecode Creator: Create timecoded sequences for grandMA consoles by importing Reaper Project files or CSV marker files.
  • Timecode Fader Automate: Generate precise fader automation tracks from value tables, enabling seamless integration with grandMA lighting desks.
  • Timecode To Markers: Extract markers from existing grandMA timecode objects and convert them into a format compatible with audio editors like Reaper.

Macro Tools

  • Macro Generator: Transform structured data tables into complex grandMA macros automatically, streamlining repetitive tasks and boosting workflow efficiency.
  • Layer Patch Macro: Simplify fixture patching by exporting existing layer data from a showfile and generating macros to assign fixture IDs to their designated DMX addresses.

Analysis Tools

Conversion Tools

  • Maybe older versions will work too, but it has not been tested …
